About These courses are offered by Institute to fulfill the objective of uplifting and upgrading the training standard of existing serving instructors of ITIs/ ITCs and Industry as well as those who aspire to become successful instructor in future.
In all the trades 25% seat is reserved for sponsored candidates. If seats are vacant are filled on the merit of all India ranking.
The Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) was introduced by the Government of India in year 1950 to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry, to raise quantitatively and qualitatively the industrial production by systematic training, to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable skills, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of younger generation. The Scheme is the most important in the field of Vocational Training, has been shaping craftsmen to meet the existing as well as future manpower need, through the vast network of ITIs spread over various States / Union Territories in the country. The domain of IT, Networking and Cloud Computing has been in the forefront of creating many jobs at various levels. This sector has great scope to absorb talent from Engineering streams and other technical disciplines, thereby creating a need for employable Engineering graduates and ITI Diploma holders. In order to create more awareness about this sector, on 13th February 2018, Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) entered into an agreement with IBM India Private Limited at MSDE office, New Delhi.
The objective of the MoU is constitution of private public partnership in order to promote higher qualifications for ITI pass outs through creating awareness and expertise in the field of IT, Networking and Cloud Computing so as to enable them to get an opportunity to work with the emerging advanced technology.
Mode Of Admission Admission is made purely on the basis of merit of Entrance Test held by DGT, Ministry of Skill Development Entrepreneurship, New Delhi. Application for the same are invited through the advertisement in Employment News/ regional newspapers during the month of June of every year. Sponsored candidates from Govt. ITI may nominated to this Institute for direct admission through Proper Channel. (i.e. through their state directorate) Admission shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class. However, this institute reserves the right to conduct an Entrance Test if the number of applicants are higher Admission is made purely on the basis of merit of Entrance Test held by DGT, Ministry of Skill Development Entrepreneurship, New Delhi. Application for the same are invited through the advertisement in Employment News/ regional newspapers during the month of June of every year.
Selection Selection of private candidates will be made on merit of all India Entrance Test to be conducted by DGT, MSDE, New Delhi As per Merit List prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class / Entrance Test.
